Volunteers including kitchen helpers are sought as the Roseburg Warming Center has resumed operations, now located at 406 Northeast Winchester Avenue.

A City of Roseburg release said volunteers are needed for all shifts through Thursday morning March 9th. The facility is open nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. as cold overnight temperatures are impacting the Roseburg area. A shuttle will make one circuit around town starting nightly at 5:00 p.m. to pick up guests. It will return people each morning

Kitchen volunteers will work only at the Roseburg Senior Center, at 1614 Southeast Stephens Street. Help is needed starting at either 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 a.m. Workers will continue until hot dinners and breakfasts are delivered to the warming center, and the kitchen is cleaned up.

Warming center volunteers are needed for these shifts:

*Evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

*Overnights from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

*Mornings from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
