On Friday the Umpqua National Forest issued a new closure for the Homestead Complex.
A UNF release said the latest closure order opens some previously closed areas from the prior order. It impacts the North Umpqua, Diamond Lake and Cottage Grove Ranger districts.
The most recent Diamond Emergency Fire Closure Order remains in effect on the Diamond Lake Ranger District. On the Tiller Ranger District, two administrative closures for the roads in the footprints of the Devils Knob and Dixon fires are still in effect.
