Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following an alleged disturbance on Tuesday.
A DCSO report said at 9:00 p.m. a 43-year old suspect was allegedly intoxicated and got in a physical altercation in the 100 block of Eighth Street in Reedsport. After fighting with one subject, the man walked across the street and allegedly shoved another person to the ground. The report said the incident was witnessed by several people. The man said he would start the fight again as soon as law enforcement left.
The suspect was charged with harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained without bail.
