Roseburg Public Schools were closed on Tuesday, due to snow in the region, but officials have not scheduled a make-up day for now.
In a letter to families, Superintendent Jared Cordon said ample instructional days are built into the calendar each year. Cordon said the school board realizes that many families have likely made plans for the upcoming Presidents Day holiday on Monday and wants to be respectful of everyone’s schedule. That day was listed as a potential make-up day on the district’s calendar for the current school year.
