Roseburg Police jailed a man Saturday for an alleged prior theft incident.
An RPD report said employees at a business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street said the 20-year-old had stolen a boom box on Friday. At 5:00 p.m. Saturday he reportedly returned to the business, still carrying the stolen item.
Video footage showed the suspect walking out of the store with the boom box in his pants. He was taken into custody and charged with third-degree theft. The man was detained on $1,250 bail.
