Roseburg Police jailed a man following a traffic stop on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 11:50 p.m. an officer allegedly observed 45-year Christopher Painter commit multiple traffic violations near the corner of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Park Street. Painter returned with three warrants and his driving status was suspended at the misdemeanor level.

Officers arrested Painter and charged him with driving uninsured, driving while suspended and for the warrants. Bail was set at $14,000. His vehicle was parked and the keys were given to his passenger.
