A motorcyclist evaded law enforcement Tuesday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 3:45 p.m. a deputy passed the bike near the corner of Sether Avenue and Gilbert Avenue in Glendale and saw it didn’t have a plate so turned around. The male rider tried to ditch the deputy by going up to Willis Avenue but deputy caught up to him, so he took off, up Mount Reuben Road. The deputy caught up to him again and initiated a pursuit. This continued to Rattlesnake Road where the rider drove up into the trees.
The deputy eventually located the bike, but not the rider. The suspect was described as being in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build and about 6 feet tall. The motorcycle was towed.
