Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged criminal mischief incident on Thursday.
An RPD report said at 9:00 p.m. officers contacted 27-year old Christopher McCrea was contacted in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue regarding cutting off his ankle-worn tracking device. McCrea allegedly admitted to cutting off the monitor and said he threw it away at a rest stop.
McCrea was charged with criminal mischief in the second-degree, theft in the first-degree and for a probation violation. He was held without bail.
