A Jacksonville woman was jailed after a DUII incident at Wildlife Safari on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly before 3:30 p.m. the 56-year-old was called in for allegedly driving erratically in the drive through of the game park. A deputy located the vehicle at the drive through exit and initiated a traffic stop.

The woman told the deputy that she had been involved in a crash while in the drive through. Her pickup had hit a side by side that is owned by Wildlife Safari, causing damage to both vehicles. There was a juvenile child in the vehicle with the driver.

The driver admitted to having a beer and consented to standard field sobriety tests, which showed impairment. She provided a blood sample which showed a blood alcohol level of 0.09 percent. The woman was taken into custody. She was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and detained without bail.

Child Protective Services took the child into custody until a family member could pick her up. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
