Hope Springs Eternal, a free family event hosted by the non-profit partner organizations on the Jerry Bruce Community Campus, takes place on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It will be held in the parking lot of Aviva Health at 150 Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive.
A release said the event aims to bring the community together to enjoy fun activities, live performances, snacks and drinks, and an opportunity to win prizes.
Hope Springs Eternal is also an opportunity to introduce the five organizations that call the campus home – Family Development Center, FISH Food Pantry, Umpqua Health Alliance, the United Community Action Network, and Aviva Health – to the community, and educate people on the programs and services each one of them offers.
Activities will include an obstacle course, face painting, balloon art, a selfie booth and much more. There will also be animals from Wildlife Safari. Organizers will have a dunk tank, offering community members the chance to soak campus leaders and other volunteers.
Sponsors for Hope Springs Eternal include Lotus Media Group, Rogue Credit Union, UHA, Umpqua Bank, Oregon Pacific Bank, Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, i.e. Engineering, FCC Commercial Furniture and Addcox Heating Center.
