One driver was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening.
A Roseburg Police report said just after 7:45 p.m. a woman was driving her sedan northbound on Northeast Stephens Street when a woman traveling southbound with her vehicle made a left turn onto Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive on a flashing yellow light. Both vehicles collided in the intersection.
Witnesses said the first driver’s light was green when she went through the intersection Damage to both vehicles was minor. The first driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaint of lower back and right leg pain.
The driver who caused the wreck was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
