City of Roseburg Buildings will be closed this Thursday in observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday.

A city release said means that Roseburg City Hall, the Public Safety Center, Roseburg Public Library and other city buildings will not be open to the public. Police and firefighters will continue to provide public safety throughout the holiday.

Lobbies at city hall and the Public Safety Center, both on Southeast Douglas Avenue are normally open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12 :00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Library hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
