Jerry Bruce Community Campus partner organizations are holding a Trunk-or-Treat for local families on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Family Development Center, the FISH Food Pantry, Umpqua Homes, United Community Action Network and Aviva Health are holding the event at their campus on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Roseburg.
More than 30 staff members from the organizations are volunteering their time and trunks to hand out store-purchased, individually wrapped candy or toys to children and their families in attendance. Attendees are encouraged to wear family friendly costumes to add Halloween spirit to the event.
The Aviva Health parking lot on the west side of the facility where the trunk-or-treat takes place will be closed to vehicle traffic. Those who attend can park on the east side of the Aviva Health building and in the Aviva employee parking area located in the northeast corner of the Costco parking lot.
Essie Lewis and Natalie Aumock from Aviva Health talked about the trunk-or-treat on the Morning Conversation Friday on News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN. That interview is a KQEN Podcast at www.541radio.com
