The Roseburg High School Marching Ensemble recently competed at the annual Pride of the Northwest marching competition at Grants Pass High School.

Taking place last Saturday, October 12th, the competition brought together 12 high school marching bands from all over Oregon and northern California. RHS took home the 2nd place trophy in both the preliminary and final rounds of competition with their show, “The Outlaw of Nottingham”. This was an interactive marching production centered around the Robin Hood legend. In addition, Roseburg’s marching ensemble earned special recognition for having the highest percussion score of all ensembles there.

Fans can see the Roseburg Marching Ensemble at the last RHS football game on Friday October 25th, marching band championships at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on Saturday November 2nd, as well as the end of the season Platinum Arrow performance at RHS on Monday, November 5th.
