Roseburg Police jailed a man following a pursuit early Thursday morning.
An RPD report said at 1:45 a.m. an officer tried to stop the SUV driven by 38-year old Sean Riessbeck after watching him allegedly driving recklessly near the intersection of Southeast Mosher Avenue and Southeast Spruce Street. The officer caught up with the vehicle near Roseburg High School on West Harvard Avenue and a pursuit ensued.
The man eventually stopped his vehicle on Harvard near West Luellen Drive. Riessbeck was arrested and suspected to be driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was transported to corrections where he refused any tests. A search warrant was granted for his blood.
Riessbeck was charged with attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle, reckless driving and for driving under the influence. He was detained without bail.
