Roseburg Police cited a man for littering on Tuesday.
An RPD report said just after 9:20 p.m. officers located a large transient camp that was sprawling into the South Umpqua River near Templin Beach in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. An officer contacted a 33-year old at the camp. He allegedly had a propane bottle, soda bottles, and bags of rubbish floating in the river.
The man was cited for depositing trash within one hundred yards of a waterway. He was released after being cited.
