Roseburg Police jailed a man on drugs and weapon charges after contacting him Wednesday afternoon.
An RPD report said shortly before 2:45 p.m. officers responded to the Fred Meyer parking lot in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said a man was doing drugs. Upon arrival, officers observed 22-year old Jesse Roehl, of Redding California, allegedly in the driver’s seat with foil and what appeared to be fentanyl on it, sitting in his lap.
Roehl reportedly consented to a search and officers allegedly located about forty grams of methamphetamine, about four grams of fentanyl and a concealed FN Five 7 pistol.
Roehl was charged with unlawful possession of a felony amount of meth, unlawful possession of fentanyl and for unlawful possession of a firearm. He was detained without bail and was released later in the day.
