9.52 percent of local ballots have been received for the May Special Districts Election.
Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis said the 8,356 ballots that have been received lags 0.90 percent behind the participation rate for the same point in the 2021 May Special Districts Election.
Loomis said registered voters who have not received a ballot should contact the clerk’s office. With the deadline to vote one week away, residents should take their ballot to one of the fifteen official drop site locations.
