The City of Sutherlin has been selected by Business Oregon for the Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program.
A city release said it will get just under $2.5 million to be used for work on the Sutherlin Fire Station and Police Station. The project is subject to review and compliance with the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office. This is subject to execution of a contact with the State of Oregon through the Oregon Business Development Department – Infrastructure Finance Authority.
Business Oregon Program and Policy Coordinator Gloria Zachanas said, “We are pleased to be able to offer this assistance to your facility and the community. We look forward to partnering with you to complete this vitally important project”.
