Roseburg has had nearly twice as much rain as normal for April, so far this month.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport has recorded 3.29 inches of precipitation for the month, as of Sunday night. The normal amount for that period is 1.65 inches.
Around the region, statistics vary. North Bend has had 4.77 inches of rain for April. That compares to the normal amount of 3.29 inches, meaning that rain there is about 50 percent above normal.
Medford has had less rain that normal with .65 inches of rain this month in comparison to the normal amount of .88 inches.
More showers are expected for the next several days in the Umpqua Valley.
